The only thing that saved me from being the world's worst DJ "sitting between the tables reading the labels" was the the fact that I loved writing and producing the station's commercials, first for WAMY in Amory, MS then WVIM in Vicksburg where they had a transcription library and I had Sound Effects. The very element that made the Three Stooges comedy so effective was now available to me.

In addition to doing local, regional, and national spots for such products as AT&T, Mobile Oil, Benjamin Moore Paint, GE, 7-UP, Nehi, McDonalds, The Maryland State Lottery, and Virginia Power along with a series of spots for National Mutual Insurance (as George Burns). I've provided character voices for PBS "Oregon Trail" along with voices for 'Parrots' and 'Pirates' for the Navy's animated film program and won a Silver Cindy for an animated film for Navships R&D. And finally extensive training films for Naval Aviation as Orville K. Wrightstuff, the world's oldest airnautical engineer.
